Kyle Hughley's Revised Short Essay #1 Introduction

Entertainment as defined by Dictionary.com is an agreeable occupation for the mind. People all around the world search for entertainment by constantly engaging or inventing new activities or games in which they will be "entertained". They are simply finding an agreeable occupation for their minds. This statement goes for not only the real world, but for in virtual reality worlds also. Second Life can be defined pretty much by it's name. It is literally is a game where you can experience almost everything you can do in real life. The Second Life simulated world shows a great example of the need for people to be entertainment. Not only is Second Life a game, but there are hundreds of games and activities within Second Life that a person could play while playing a game in the first place. The types of activities that are taken into account with Second Life entertainment demographics are all activities or games that someone could be occupied with in real life. Activities in Second Life range from all sports, combat games, shopping, and dancing.
